Since the bulk head would be half way in the body tube, I decided to install a metal plumbing fitting on the upper side of the bulk head. I can then screw the ejection charge into the bottom of this fitting from below through the door for the altimeters. 

 

Here is the bottom side of the ejection bulk head. The ejection charge is loading into this steel pipe and screwed into the bulk head.


I applied West System epoxy to all of the leading edges of the fins within the fin canister. 



Here is another angle of the filets applied to the fin canister for added strength, and to connect the engine tube to the fin canister.
